CPN~So Cal Meet-up and Fiesta

On August 13, 2011, the fabulous Natalie of Little Shindigs and The Knock-Knock Factory and creative Claudia of TiniPosh, hosted Children's Party Network's 1st (hopefully annual) So Cal Meet-up and Fiesta in Pasadena, California.  It was a great time meeting and networking with other event planners, cookie and pastry designers, dessert table gurus, custom printable designers and so many others.  I absolutely loved meeting the creative genuius of Catch My Party, Jillian Tohber Leslie.  We had a wonderful conversation and I loved her energy for everything party!

Rewarding Experiences can come from Small Packages!

Sometimes the most rewarding events, are the ones you don't put on, but that you have the privilege to experience and be a part of. This past weekend I was honored to be a judge for the Nationals Inc. pageant promoting self-esteem and confidence in young girls. I was one of four on the panel that judged the 7-9 year old and 10-12 year old categories. It was truly amazing to hear their stories. One 11 year old girl told us that her greatest accomplishment in life was to be out of foster care and to be adopted with her big sister! These young girls were beautiful and it was awesome to be a part of a memory that will last them a lifetime!

Hire your event planner / wedding coordinator early

As we enter the new year many people already have events on the calender. However most people who are planning an event also have a full time job. With that said, trying to plan a wedding, baby shower, birthday party, corporate event or fundraiser has to take a back seat to other day-to-day responsibilities. Although it may seem like hiring help is not within the budget you may be surprised. Many event planners will tell you it is much easier to start from scratch then to pick up an event half way into the planning. At Every Little Detail Event Planning and Design, we specialize in Southern California event planning and have relationships and vendors available at a moments notice. These relationships keep your costs down, your stress levels down and most importantly your enjoyment before and during the event high. Visit us at www.everylittledetailevent@gmail.com and see what we can do for you.

Choose your theme

Whenever planning a party it is important to pick a theme. All too many times individuals do not focus on a theme and instead the event end up being bits and pieces of everything. This lack of direction only costs money when trying to decorate for the event as it is difficult to make a space feel complete when only decorating with a sampling of this and that. At Every Little Detail Event Planning and Design, Amy Nehmens and her team focus on "beginning to end" design and will tie the entire event together from invitation to cake. Please visit us at http://www.everylittledetailevent.com/ and ask for a free consultation for your Southern California wedding, baby shower, anniversary party, birthday party, holiday parts, etc, etc. Happy Planning!!
